LEVACO founds subsidiary in Brazil

On July 1, 2023, "LEVACO Brasil Limitada" was successfully established.
Brazil is a well-known market for LEVACO, where the company has already been active for several years. Especially in the field of agro and food chemicals LEVACO identifies great potential.
The setting up of a sales and logistics unit in Brazil is already in full progress. LEVACO has established an initial team of qualified employees on site and is supported by experienced local consultants. With this foundation, LEVACO will reach full functionality of its organization in Brazil in early 2024. "The company's agile structures and fast decision-making processes have enabled us to proceed from idea to successful start-up in just a few months," said Jens Becker, CFO of LEVACO Chemicals.
"The investment in Brazil is an integral part of our growth and diversification strategy. Despite the current discussion about Germany as an industrial base, we remain committed to Chempark Leverkusen as our main production site. However, we also see the shift in market power towards the global south and recognize the enormous growth potential that exists here. With our new sales office in Brazil, we will be able to serve these markets even better and invest in the future," said Marius Mühlenberg, CEO of LEVACO Chemicals.
