Sustainable production is more than a slogan at LEVACO, it is a precise strategic corporate goal. With its membership in the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), LEVACO takes an important step towards this goal.
The association's objective is to ensure sustainably produced palm oil is the norm throughout the entire supply chain. This includes
- halting deforestation,
- treating communities and workers fairly, and
- protecting wildlife and the environment.
Our membership is just the first step and a precondition for the certification of our products. The next step is a strict audit of our product range to obtain certifications for single products. In this audit, the entire supply chain from the raw material onwards is analyzed for the use of sustainably produced palm oil.
